Packaging & Logo design of Tea Company “Blend My Tea.”
Blend My Tea is a Specialised tea company that offers blended variant of different aromatic tea instead of regular tea. It is a luxury brand that sells to a niche audience.
The brief was to create a modern logo that should be luxurious as well.
The design:
So for the logo design of the project we zeroed down to 2 colours that are cinnamon, a derivative of brown and beige for the obvious reasons.
To create Tea logo design, we used cinnamon colour to give that product specific feeling. The other colour that is beige is used for the tea drop motif that appear below the name.
The Tea-drop motif was created specifically to give a distinct identity and recall value. The “my” in the logo is made with calligraphy type face in small case to create a sense of ownership towards the brand and being distinct in the whole logo setup. The upper case use of “B” and “T” are to denote leadership in taste and quality and makes the brand standout. The leaves are incorporated to indicate tea industry as leaves are the only component in tea.
Tea packaging Design:
For the packaging design purpose we carried forward the logo colours to have familiarity. The entire packaging is made with the beige colour and its derivatives. A mild grainy texture is used all around just to have that industry specific look. The product details are placed in the side to keep the face of the packaging neat and clutter-free as that gives a more luxurious feeling. Only a single image of black tea is used to keep the design clean. Black tea is used so give contrast and make everything distinct. The logo is placed within a white colour U shaped centrally placed box as the logo is central to everything the product offers. A contrast light brown colour is used for product details on the side panel to make them more visible. At last the brown strip down the bottom enhances the shadow effect of the cup and adds a styling element to the whole pack. Overall as it is a modern and luxurious design we tried to keep it as neat as possible and minimalistic.
